Modern Wedding Arrangement

Hello Dear Subscribers,

I hope everything is going well for you.

In flower arranging its wonderful all the different types of designs you can create

This time we have a modern floral design using elegant lilies and watsonia foliage.

This flower arrangement is placed at the end of the table for a wedding reception.

The lily stems are bound together with twine.

Foliage is placed around the lilies to cascade gracefully down in a waterfall effect.

An oval mirror is used as a base under the arrangement to add visual interest to the design.

Smaller lower arrangements are placed on mirror bases along the centre of the table

The materials used in this design are:

Arum lilies
Long sword shaped foliage of choice such as watsonia, other suitable types are iris and gladioli leaves.
Spear Grass
Pot container
Glass Jar
Twine

Method
1. Place the glass jar inside the larger pot and fill both three quarters of the way with water.
2. Cut the lilies to the desired length and place them to stand upright in the pot container. Add a few long stems of spear grass and tie the stems together with twine.
3. Cut the foliage to the desired length and insert them in the pot fanning them outwards to curve down gracefully.
4. Spray lightly with water.
Now wasn't that an easy design to create?
