Gift Posy of Flowers

Hello Dear Subscribers,

This gift posy of flowers looks effective using cream roses, orange Chinese lanterns, a gourd, flowering vine and raffia.

A pearl headed pin is inserted into the top of each Chinese lantern.

A small orange gourd that looks like a miniature pumpkin has been wired and positioned amongst the other materials.

The posy is encircled with a flowering vine and surrounded with large leaves.

A few strands of raffia are wound loosely around the vine.

The posy is made by holding it in one hand, the materials added in the other, turning the posy around and around until it is the required size, then tying all the stems together with a few twists of twine.

The materials have been positioned, so the individual shape of each one clearly shows.

What I like most about floral designing is once you learn the basics of flower arranging, you can use your creative skills putting different materials together and achieve some wonderful effects.

You will be able to use your creative skills to its fullest and use different materials together to create eye catching floral designs.
