valentines heart rose petalsValentines Heart of Rose Petals

Happy St Valentines Day

Sometimes you can create something simple that can convey the same message as an elaborate floral design.

This is a heart made of rose petals.

A long stemmed rose to represent Cupids arrow is placed through the petals

This heart of petals will look lovely placed on a low table so you can view the design looking down upon it.

You will need several full open roses. Start from the outside and hold the base of one petal between your thumb and first finger and gently remove it.

Repeat this step with the remaining petals.

Start from the outside and place the petals in a heart shape.

Fill in the centre with rose petals.

Lay a choice long stemmed rose diagonally across the centre of the petals.

Place extra petals across the top.

Spray lightly with water holding the sprayer about 25cm (10") away.

This floral design is briefly explained. In the Floristry Diploma Course, we explain each lesson in detail.

For Each lesson there are step by step instructions with diagrams, measurements on how long to cut each flower and foliage stem, exactly where to position each one and a colour photo for each completed design.

Become Involved In The Wonderful World of Floristry

You will learn how to create many different floral designs including corsages, bowl and basket arrangements, gift box designs, tributes, posies and bridal designs.
