chic silk flower design Chic Silk Flower Design

This design features is eye-catching and very easy to create.

Hot pink silk flowers, curving stems of Chinese happy plant, large tropical leaves and a few stems of small leaf foliage have been used in this arrangement.

Crumpled paper has been placed in the container to sit about 10 cm from the top.

Dry floral foam has been wedged firmly into the top of the container.

The flower stems have been cut to the desired length, starting at the top and working downwards inserted into the foam.

For extra support, the ends of the stems can be wired on double legs with 18 gauge wire or dipped into hot glue first before inserting them into the foam.

The happy plant stems have been inserted into the back and side of the arrangement to extend upwards and outwards.

The large leaves have been inserted into the the foam, and pieces of fine foliage positioned into the right side of the foam having the stems extend gracefully downwards.

This floral design is briefly explained. In the Floristry Diploma Course, each lesson is explained in detail on how long to cut each stem and exactly where to position each one in a design.
