Pretty In Pink Floral Design

Hello Dear Subscribers,

This is a pretty flower arrangement that would be ideal for a small gift for many different occasions.

It would also look lovely having one of these floral designs placed in front of each guest at a dinner party.

Each guest could take their arrangement home with them and, I am sure they would love that!

The materials used in colours of pinks and mauves have all been carefully chosen to blend well together.

A container has been covered with sheer mauve fabric. A small jar has been filled with water and placed inside the container.

A pink rose, ivy leaves and a cluster of gypsophila have been placed in the container.

Two hearts have been made from a foil garland with stars and inserted in the design to give a glamorous finishing touch.

A decorative heart with a silk tassel is placed in front of the arrangement.

The materials used in this design are
Container
Jar or smaller container to stand inside the other container
One Rose
Ivy Leaves
Gypsophila
Piece of sheer fabric
Garland with stars
22 gauge wire

Method
l. Cut a piece of fabric large enough to be placed under the centre of the container. Bring the fabric up to the top and then turn the edges down inside the top of the container.
2. Fill the jar with water and place it inside the container.
3. Cut the stems of the rose, ivy leaves and filler flower cluster to the desired length and place in the water.
4. Bend the garland into a heart shape. Place the centre of a 22 gauge wire behind the two ends of the bottom of the heart and wind the right hand wire twice around, then bring the two ends straight down together. Make another star in the same way and insert the stars into the arrangement as shown.

This is a design that is easy to make and has some pizzazz. I am sure you will receive lots of compliments.
