Purple Flowers - Easter Arrangement

Purple Flowers - Easter Arrangement

It's almost Easter already, haven't the first few months of this year just flown?

This is a simple floral design that would be suitable for Easter and is very easy to make.

Stems of purple hyacinths and white jonquils have been placed together in a bunch and arranged on a white flat base. The stems are tied together with a ribbon bow.

Fresh or silk flowers can be used for this arrangement.

Shredded mauve paper has been placed on the base and several pastel shaded plastic eggs are nestled in the paper.

Method
Place a small upright container such as a glass or plastic container on the flat base.

You can secure the bottom of the upright container on the white base with a piece of sure stick or blue tack.

If using fresh flowers, fill the upright container with water.

Use long stemmed flowers of choice and hold them in a bunch in the left hand, having the flowers rounded across the top.

Cut the stems straight across the bottom to the desired length.

Position the stems in the container, they should fit firmly in place.  Tie a piece of ribbon around the stems tying it in a shoe lace bow with long ribbon ends.

Place the shredded paper around to cover the small upright container and on the flat base and position the eggs on the paper.

This floral design is briefly explained.
In our Floristry Diploma Course, we explain each lesson in detail.

Each lesson has step by step instructions with diagrams, measurements on how long to cut each flower and foliage stem, exactly where to position each one and a colour photo for each completed design.
