Easter DisplayYou will need - 1 bunny 1. Place the twig base on the table and place ivy trails over the top as shown in the photograph. Place a piece of dry foam to the left side at the back of the ivy. Insert the twiggy branches in the foam. Insert the two stems of hop vines to the left of the twiggy stems. 2. Place the bunny in the centre of the design. 3. Fill the basket with Easter eggs and insert some clusters of ivy at the back and place on the left side of the design. 4. Place a piece of foam in the other basket and fill with silk flowers, arranging them in a rounded shape. If the flower stems need extra support, wire each one separately by placing the centre of a 22 gauge wire behind the end of the stem and wind the right hand wire twice around and bring the two wire ends straight down together. The stems can be covered with florist tape for 5cm (2") before inserting them into the foam. Illustrated step by step wiring and taping instructions are included in our course. Gift Ideas for EasterA soft toy can be dressed up by placing a piece of ribbon around the neck and tying it into a shoe lace bow with long ends. Cut the ribbon ends on a slant. A spray of silk flowers or a few small chocolate eggs can be placed in a piece of cellophane and tied to the ribbon at the back of the bow. Chocolates or an Easter egg can be wrapped attractively in cellophane and placed in a basket. Position the chocolates or egg in the cellophane. You will need to use a large enough piece of cellophane for the size of the chocolates or the egg. Gather the top of the cellophane together with your two hands, leaving a ruffle about 10cm (4") high, place a piece of ribbon around the gathered cellophane and tie in a bow with long ends. Cut the ends on a slant. Fill the basket with shredded cellophane or crumpled coloured tissue and place the chocolates or egg in the basket.
Kind regards Principal Become involved in the exciting world of floral design.
