Different Styles Of Flower Arrangements
Hello Dear Subscribers,
The wonderful thing about floristry is there are so many different
types of designs you can choose from. This photograph shows three different styles of arrangements.
The all round arrangement on the far left is suitable for a centrepiece.
This arrangement is made in a round container. The materials used are
red gerberas and green banksias.
Leather fern is placed around the edges and in between the flowers.
Spear grass loops are inserted amongst the flowers.
The arrangement on the right is a modern upright design arranged in an urn.
This design is a frontal design that would be suitable on a side table, mantle piece or pedestal.
Two tall white ixias are placed on the left side to give height to the design.
Three pale green proteas are used down the centre to form the focal line.
Two large red and green shaded anthuriums are positioned on the left and three red gerberas are placed on the right side.
White lilliums are placed on the upper right and the lower left to form a curved line through the arrangement.
Two ranunculus are positioned in the lower right side of the arrangement.
The foliage used is privet and it is placed to follow the line of the arrangement with the pieces on the lower right side curving downwards.
The horizontal arrangement at the front is made in a low flat container. It is suitable as a table arrangement.
It features red anthuriums in the centre with red rosebuds placed around the edges and between the anthuriums.
Green banksias are placed on either side of the anthuriums. Boston fern is used around the edges and between the flowers.
Dodda vine is formed into loops and wired across the ends and inserted in the design for a natural look.
