Question 1:
How much does the floristry correspondence course cost?

Answer:
Each term includes a large step by step floristry manual, online videos for each lesson and the floristry supplies such as bowls, baskets, bases, foam, ribbon, wire and tape for your practical lessons.

Fees – Australian Students – The fees are $525 for each term. (Postage is included).

International Students – The fees are $565 for each term in Australian Dollars. (Postage is included).

Discount Offer For All Students –

There is $120 discount when you enrol and pay for the complete Floristry Course (consisting of three terms) together at the same time. We will send the First, Second and Third term boxes together to you. As well as a considerable discount, this will allow you to complete one term and then start the next term without any delay.

Is your course recognised?

Answer:
Our school is a member of the International Approval and Registration Centre (IARC).

Floral Art School of Australia and International Floral Design School was established in 1972.

With over 50 years in the floristry industry we have many students in Australia and in other countries around the world.

We have students who have gone on to open their own florist business, find a position in a florist shop or start a florist business from home.

We have other students who enrol in the course for their own enjoyment to learn to create floral designs for their own home, family or friends.

Question 3:
What kind of support will I get?

Answer:
Fay Chamoun (The Principal) will work with you personally on a one-to-one basis. You e-mail or send in photos of your practical lessons and Fay will advise you on your progress and offering helpful suggestions if needed. You can contact Fay with any questions by email or phone and she will be happy to answer them for you.

Question 4:
Will I be able to get a position in a florist shop?

Answer:
We have students who have found a position in a florist shop or started their own florist shop or a floristry business from home. To work as a florist you should present yourself well, be to be able to make up attractive floral designs and be a fairly quick worker. A career in floristry is fully explained in the Second Term Manual of the Floristry Course.

Question 5:
How long does it take to complete the course?

Answer:
You have up to eighteen months to complete the Floristry Correspondence Course which consists of three terms. You can also complete the course in much less time as you work at your own pace. When you finish one term you can start the next one. One of the advantages of the Floristry Correspondence Course is that you can work at a time that suits you best.
