Beautiful flowers make the world a better place. A flower arrangement is suitable as a gift for so many occasions.
In this design gerberas, tulips, blossom, jasmine and small leaf pittosporum have been arranged in a square ceramic container.
The stems have been cut to the desired length, and the foliage stripped from the bottom third of the stems as foliage left under the water line will pollute the water and the flowers will not last so long
The flowers have been placed in separate groups along the table. The container has been filled three quarters of the way with water.
The foliage has been placed in the container crisscrossing the stems and having them extend over the edges for a natural look.
The three gerberas have been placed along the centre front. The stems can be wired vertically for more support with a long 22 gauge wire inserted into the base and wound spirally down and around the stem 3 or 4 times and the excess wire cut level with the end of the stem.
The blossom has been placed at the back to give additional height. The tulips have been positioned with the bottom ones curving down.
The jasmine has been added for a soft finishing touch.
