A posy of flowers makes a lovely gift for any occasion.
This posy features 3 large blue hydrangea, pink mini roses, cream lisianthus and larkspur.
The stems have been cut to the desired length, and the foliage stripped from the bottom third of the stems.
The flowers have been placed in separate groups along the table.
Holding a hydrangea in one hand between the thumb and first finger position about 20cm down from the base of the flower head and using the other hand the flowers have been evenly placed around turning the posy around in a clockwise position after adding in two or three stems.
The entire posy is made holding it in this position having the flowers out slightly further to the sides in each round until the posy is the desired size.
The posy has been checked that it is evenly balanced with the top of the posy slightly rounded across the top when viewed side on.
The stems have been secured together at the thumb and first finger position with a few twists of twine and tied in a small bow.
The end of the stems have been cut level.
If desired ribbon can be placed on top of the twine and tied in a shoelace bow with long ends.
