Easter Floral Arrangement Featuring Tulips

Hello Dear Subscribers,

Easter is not that far away. For an Easter display, a vase of tulips in shades of variegated pink and white are casually arranged in a vase.

Cut the tulips to the desired length, at least one and a half times the height of the container, and place them in a vase filled three quarters of the way with water.

Dyed eggs in pastel colours are placed on green shredded paper in a wire basket which is then positioned in front of the vase.

The curtain in soft shades is a lovely background for this setting.

When you create a floral arrangement, always choose a style and colours to suit the surroundings.

You can dye your own eggs with food colouring or purchase novelty eggs in a craft store.

To dye your own eggs, place the eggs in a saucepan of boiling water until they are hard boiled, then remove them and allow them to cool.

Place newspaper over your work area. If you like, you can wear rubber gloves.

Fill a bowl halfway with several cups with hot water. Do not fill it right to the top, or it will overflow when you add the eggs.

Add one teaspoon of white vinegar for each cup of water. This helps the dye stick to the shells. Add several drops of food colouring until the colour is the desired shade and stir it well.

Using a tablespoon, place each egg gently in the dye and leave them there until they are the desired colour. Then, take them out and leave them to dry on a cake rack with a piece of paper toweling underneath.

When the eggs are completely dry, if desired, you can decorate each one with ribbon, paint on stripes or glue small clusters of artificial silk flowers or beads.

Have fun - you can create some really lovely eggs and children really enjoy decorating eggs.

All the very best wishes for you and your family for a happy Easter!
