"I have thoroughly enjoyed the course. I particularly enjoy the modern/European designs and the bouquets. All the designs were amazing and I am very impressed with the way the lessons were set out explaining everything in detail as you go through them".
Thank you

St Valentine's Day is on the 14th of February.

A heart made from pink roses is a lovely design for St Valentines Day.

A large quantity of roses are needed for this design. If you want to economise, use medium to full roses to use less.

The heart shaped foam base is lightly soaked in water and the stems of the roses are cut short and inserted into the base.

This is a very easy design to create, but it is perfect for a romantic floral design with a difference.

The materials used in this design are:

Pink roses

Heart shape foam base

Method

1. Soak the foam base in water for a couple of minutes.
2. Cut the stems to measure about 5cm (2") long from the base of each flower head.
3. If using different size roses, you will need to insert them evenly throughout the design. Start at the outer edges and insert the smallest roses evenly around the edges of the base.
4. Fill in the centre of the base with the rest of the roses having the top of the flower heads level.
5. Spray the flowers lightly with water.

I hope you all have a wonderful St Valentines Day.
