I hope you're having a great week.

This gold base is an important part of this design.

Red roses, carnations and foliage have been arranged in the top of the container.

Three red apples have been inserted in the front to form the focal area.

Florist foam has been soaked in water for several minutes, placed in a number six florist bowl and secured in position with a clip-on guard. It was then placed in the top of the gold container.

The roses have been inserted in the left side of the foam with the smallest ones out to the side and the fullest roses close to the centre of the arrangement.

The carnations have been inserted in a similar way in the right side of the foam.

Foliage has been inserted between the flowers, following the line of the arrangement.

For the focal area, each apple has a skewer inserted into the base, and they have been inserted close together in the front of the foam.

This design has been briefly explained. In the Floristry Diploma Course, each lesson is explained in detail, giving the measurements on how long to cut each flower stem and exactly where to position each one in a design.
